First Look : RMC's Personal Hovercraft

Box Art

This one was long overdue! Luke's rad ride is finally here. When not busy nailing womprats in his old T-16 back home, he's tooling around in this spiffy open top model. And now it can be yours--repulsor lifts not included! The model is well cast with only a handful of visible seam lines. No bubbles mar these castings! No decals or stand is included, but optional opened engine and some nice interior details make up for that. The inclusion of a second copy of the vacuformed windscreen is greatly appreciated, especially for those more ham-handed of us-the plastic is pretty thick and looks easy to work with.

To fully represent Luke's ride, your going to have to gouge out your own dings and stoved in nose, plus you'll need to scrounge up a small steering wheel and add some greeblies to the rear end--just like in the movie! This one's crying out for a figure set of Luke, Ben, and "2 droids"! A++

parts 13 cast resin parts and 2 vacuformed canopies (only one is required). There's an optional engine, one with the covering off, representing Luke Skywalker's speeder as seen in Star Wars, or you can use the completely covered engine to represent another vehicle.
engine nozzles The engine nozzles are finely cast. I used a "67 drill bit and pin vise to drill out the one on the right.
Speeeed! Ahaaa!
Speeeeeed!
