I
recently had the chance to see the Anton Furst designed Batmobile
that was used in the first 2 movies. It was a great opportunity
to get some reference pictures for the AMT/Ertl model kit of the
Batmobile (#6877 and 6650). The Batmobile was part of the OnStar
exhibit at the International Car show here in Boston. It was one
of 2 functional props used in the making of "Batman" and
"Batman Returns". The one at the OnStar exhibit was painted
a semi-gloss medium grey and was used in shots for night and other
darkly lit scenes.
